Note: A little history to this train, it was built 1939 for the swiss national exiption (Expo) it was built and used only as a chartervehicule for special trains. In switzerland it is not now under the name of Red double arrow, but under the name Churchill-Arrow as in 1946 it was used to transport Winston Churchill as sguest through switzerland. Some note to the top speed usually it is driven with 100 kph due to comfort and oldness. For transfer trip where comfort isn’t important it is driven up to 130 kph, another differen to the normal red arrow is that thisone is painted in bright red and not dark red.
The shot was pure luck as we were at the Slowup we went back home on bike, and we had to cross the trainstation madiswil and there it was standing
