I think they look reasonably okay in Freightliner livery, actually. I know a lot of people hate 66s, but I can think of uglier locos on National Rail. (Okay, okay, the Class 70s. :P)

The funniest sight I've seen of those Freightliner EMDs is seeing a whole rake of them behind a big, burly North American freight locomotive. It was like a mama elephant with her babies trailing along trunk-in-tail.
