Special Note: New Generation of Trains, hope they will be more effective as the Old Cisalpino. The Old one was hated by passenger cause he's very uncomfortable and everything is defect or broken, there are always negative news about them
English the old cisalpino was the first train who was stucked in the new Lötschberg basistunel cause of technical problems.
The Desing of the new one is really amazing (I think ) The Front is designed to absorb 6 MJ (Megajoule) energy in case of an accident. Design by Gugiaro. As the SBB had a big mess and difference with the producers of the cisalpino 2 they maintain their 7 units themselfs. In 2010 the cisalpino AG announced insolvency. Now all 14 units are operated by the SBB, about half of them were given new livery (red, white, black). Sometimes you can see two coupled units.

Ah, the cool Cisalpino! With this they had in fleet also ETR 470.
Unluckyly, FS suppressed the Cisalpino company last year...
The ETR 610 now passed to Trenitalia
Giugiaro's designed Pendolinos are very cool. But, now, his company is taken over by Wolkswagen and so they won't design nothing but German cars...
