Note: A bit history from this swiss technical invention. During the building processes of the Ae 3/6 there where plans to built a loco with 4 driving axles, as there wher made good experience with that system. During the 30’s the round puffers where replaced by rectangular plates. From 1927 to 1935 where produced 127 locomotives by three Electro companys. At the begin of the 60’s there where made several innovations, some got a multiple-unit control for freight trains. 1966 there was a big backfittig from slide bearing to roll bearings. From 1981 till 1996 these locomotives where discarded.
