Note: Xrail is an alliance of seven European freight railways such as CFL cargo, CD Cargo, DB Schenker Rail, Green Cargo, Rail Cargo Austria, SBB Cargo and Logistics SNCB with the aim of strengthening the wagon load.

The idea of the Xrail alliance was launched in 2007 under the leadership of the International Union of Railways UIC in Paris.

The Re 620, Re 6/6 in the old numbering scheme, are six-axle, electric locomotives of the SBB-CFF-FFS, which were acquired as a replacement for the Ae 6/6 for heavy services on the Gotthardbahn. They are the most modern of the so-called "Gotthard locomotives".
