Note: 1911 the SMB ordered a new locomotive for their vehicule park, the Ec 4/5 No.11 was in passenger and freight service on the Solothurn-Oberdorf-Gänsbrunnen-Moutier line and did her job very well, some parts are 28 ‰ steep. But as the SMB was electrified in 1932 already, she went into strategic reserve. Till 1958 she was rarely „operating“ for the SMB, in the same year she was doing the route Solothurn-Moutier as the 50 anniversary of the SMB was. From 1966 to 1986 she was standing in Oberdorf SO as an memorial, in 1992 she was taken to the RAW in Meiningen, Germany to get under steam again and since then she is one of the flagships of the DBB. 2011 she was doing her former route twice as Wintersteam - 100 Years Locomotive SMB 11.
